Christian Connection Blog – 5 Fun Autumn Date Ideas

There is often a seasonal flavor to dating. Summer dates bring with them a delicious feeling of freedom from being outside, winter dates give the pleasant feeling of being inside on a cold day or embracing the cold. But what about times of year with fluctuating temperatures and daylight hours? Here are five dating ideas you can try during the ‘between’ seasons, including some great fall dating ideas.

Ideas for fall dating from Christian Connection's dating site and appFarm Choose Yourself and Farm Stores

Spending an hour or two as a date on a farm of your choice (also known as ‘PYO’ or ‘U-Pick’) causes an active but still relaxing outdoor activity and is one of the classic fall ideas for dating.

Wherever you are, various ‘earth fruits’ will be ripe for harvest at this time of year – strawberries, cherries and other berries in the southern hemisphere, and apples and pumpkins in the north (with the added benefit of producing something from your harvest for another great idea for fall dates).

Check in advance what facilities are offered, so that if the weather is less ideal you have the option to head to an adjacent cafe or shop, browse for rustic merchandise and chat over a hot drink and specialize in baking on the farm.

A delight for book lovers

On a day when the weather is not really decisive, a bookstore or library is a really piled-up place of refuge with the opening of conversations. You may want to flip through the shelves together or alternatively split up for a stroll and then meet later to discuss your findings.

A visit to the children’s section or Y.A. And pointing to early favorites for each other tell you about each other’s formative years. Keeping the weather out of the shop windows means you can go out into the fresh air for a walk to continue the conversation or stay indoors to enjoy the indoor cafe. Discussing together your reading responses and perspectives is a great way to start discovering the inner life of it.

For easy reasons

Light parties are now officially A Thing, having initially started as an alternative to what has become a heavily commercialized Halloween. At a time of year when the emphasis is on darkness and fear, you can choose not to go mainstream by focusing on light.

You may want to jump into a light party hosted by each of your churches, where you will find yourself instantly popular with other adults and will be captivated by the sheer enthusiasm of young people in a dazzling space with glow-sticks and colorful lights. Due to their family nature, light parties tend to end early, allowing you to end the date in a nice quiet pub or cafe afterwards.

Tasting drinks

On this date there is a dichotomy of hot weather / cool weather sewn neatly. In warmer climates vineyard tours will still take place so you can enjoy a guided walk among the vines or a longer tour of the entire estate. Alternatively, in cooler areas wineries and breweries host visits and indoor tastings all year round, in any weather, where you can appreciate the expertise that accompanies making an excellent wine or a refreshing beer and also try sampling.

If you prefer an alcohol-free option, a hot spicy apple or something heated and rich while you wander the food market can be delicious even for fall dates.

Board games cafes

Cafes for glowing board games like beacons of encouragement in a good heart on humid evenings after work. Someone described them as “like being at the table in your home, away from home” because they convey friendliness and warmth and also serve food and drink.

Most cafes offer a library of games to choose from, which means you can happily connect with a nostalgic reminder of the games you’ve played before – how can I get my ‘Z’ letter on a. Triangular punctuation? Was it Reverend Green with the Candlestick in research? – Or try something fresh and new? Games are often categorized into helpful categories (e.g. ‘fast’ and ‘easy’) and often have a ‘spare games’ team on hand to guide you.

I admit I was nervous when I tried a variation of the date of coffee games in coffee during my bachelor years. What if I’m unaware? What if I’m really clueless? I did not have to worry. As the evening progressed, it was clear that no one cared about your ‘show’. What made the ‘winner’ was to be friendly, considerate and willing to try while laughing, including about yourself. Which is a great approach to all dating.
